Buried within the ornamentation of Madame Belperron’s earliest designs are renderings of the wave motif. Suzanne refined the motif over the years, vines and leaves were distilled into a rhythm of undulation and interval. Today the wave motif is as modern as it was when it was first introduced in the 1950s.
